Open Learning Course: Work in Health
This course is excellent for people looking to enter into a career in Natural Therapies or have a passion for Alternative and Complementary Medicine. This course can be done as is or as a foundation course to upgrade to the advanced diplomas offered by Health Schools Australia. If you decide to do the Foundation diploma by itself you will be awarded the Foundation Diploma by ACS Distance Education and the course will be internationally accredited by IARC. You have the option of being awarded the Foundation Diploma through our UK School which is a recognised training centre by the UK government. This can also be used to gain credits for the Premed Diploma offered by Warnborough College in UK and Ireland.

What learning method should I choose?
We offer three learning methods – e-learning, correspondence and online. If you are not sure which is the right choose for you, then click on the “Enrolment” box above, then “Learning Methods.”
How Long will it take to complete the course?
This obviously varies from student to student. Some students will have more time for study than others. Some students may work quicker than others, so it is an individual thing. We estimate that most students will take, for example, 4 – 6 months to complete a 100 hour individual module, but we allow up to 12 months for you to complete it.
Longer courses will obviously take longer. You can find more information on the length of time required and so on the “Enrolment” box, then selecting “Terms and Conditions of Enrolment.”

Natural Health Diploma Distance Learning Course
The foundation diploma in Natural Health is specially designed for people seeking a career as a Natural Therapist, Nutritionist or Nutrition and Health counsellor, or Wellness Counsellor.
This provides a foundation for seeking the first level of employment and a basis for further studies to progress in your career and expand employment opportunities.
Under arrangements with Health Schools Australia (in Australia) and Warnborough College (in Ireland and the UK), studies in this course can provide advance standing in higher studies via those institutions.
Health Schools Australia
Students who undertake this course have the option to upgrade to Advanced Diploma in Naturopathy, Complementary Medicine (Functional Nutrition), Advanced Diploma in Western Herbal Medicine, Complementary Medicine (Sports Therapy), Complementary Medicine (Remedial Therapies), Complementary Medicine (Wellness Consultancy) with Health Schools Australia who is the leading provider in complementary medicine courses and is accredited by Australian Traditional Medicine Society (A.T.M.S.).
Warnborough College
Modules undertaken here can provide credit in a Pre Medicine Diploma through Warnborough. Warnborough has flow on arrangements that allow their graduates to move into Medical studies at certain universities approved by the World Health Organisation (WHO) elsewhere in the world.
