Why Study Neurodiversity?

Neurodiversity refers to differences in brain function and behaviour in different individuals. And the way people experience the world around them in different ways. It is estimated that 15 – 20% of the world’s population are neurodiverse. By studying neurodiversity, we can understand more about the experience of neurodiversity and how to achieve diversity and inclusion in the workplace and world generally.

All of our brains are different. Understand more about the impact of neurodiversity personally and professionally.

  • Humans have natural differences (diversity) in brain functioning which arises from genetics variations.
  • Differences are most often seen in forms of conditions or disorders which are diagnosed.
  • Join the movement which advocates for difference from neurotypical ways of thinking.
